The Holawild AirTek Machu Picchu Large is a 3–4-person inflatable polycotton tent for couples and families who want generous living space and flexible sleeping arrangements. Its cabin-style design combines a 370 × 500cm footprint with 220cm centre headroom, giving you room to relax, organise your camping equipment and enjoy longer stays.

The rear sleeping area accommodates two double air beds. A removable centre divider lets you separate the bedroom from the living area or open the tent into one larger space. Optional cotton inner tents, available separately for 2026, offer a way to divide the sleeping area into two rooms.

Comfort and ventilation

The Aqua Cotton flysheet is a hydrophobic-treated polycotton blend designed to provide breathability and reduce condensation. End vents with rain hoods and four zipped side mesh windows help you manage airflow, while four included zip-in PVC windows give you additional flexibility.

A sewn-in, heavy-duty 550g PVC groundsheet creates an enclosed floor, and convenient storage pockets keep smaller essentials close at hand. The front panel is fully removable.

Single-point inflatable frame

Holawild’s DURA-Air tubes use single-point inflation, with a pump included. A built-in pressure relief valve helps manage excess pressure. Follow the manufacturer’s inflation instructions and recommended operating pressure when pitching.

Frequently asked questions

What should I know before buying?

At 62kg, this is a substantial tent. Check your vehicle’s load capacity, storage space and how you’ll handle the packed bag before purchasing.

Does it include separate bedrooms?

The removable centre divider separates the living and sleeping spaces. The optional cotton inner tents for dividing the sleeping area into two rooms are sold separately.

Does the fabric need weathering?

Holawild recommends weathering the Aqua Cotton fabric to help seal its fibres. Follow the manufacturer’s weathering and care instructions before your first camping trip.

Can I use a stove inside?

The tent has a stove entry point, but this alone does not establish that any particular stove is safe to use. Follow Holawild’s instructions and the stove manufacturer’s requirements for compatibility, ventilation, clearances and groundsheet protection. Never use a barbecue inside the tent.

How many people can sleep in the Holawild AirTek Machu Picchu Large?

The tent is designed for 3–4 people. Its rear sleeping area accommodates two double air beds, making it an option for couples wanting extra space or families of up to four.

What size is the tent, and can I stand up inside?

The overall footprint is 370 × 500cm, with a centre height of 220cm and side height of 140cm. The central area provides standing room for most adults, while headroom reduces towards the sides. Allow extra pitch space for the guylines.

How is the inflatable frame inflated, and is a pump included?

The DURA-Air frame uses single-point inflation, and a pump is included. A built-in pressure relief valve helps manage excess pressure. Use the operating pressure and pitching procedure specified in Holawild’s instructions.

Does the Machu Picchu Large have a sewn-in groundsheet?

Yes. It has a sewn-in, heavy-duty 550g PVC groundsheet, creating an enclosed floor for the tent’s living and sleeping space.

What ventilation and window options does the tent have?

The tent has end vents with rain hoods and four zipped side mesh windows to help manage airflow. Four zip-in PVC windows are also included, and the front panel is fully removable.
