What we think are the best camping chairs for style, lightness and comfort and style for 2023!
We put several camping chairs that are available in store through their paces to find chairs that won’t leave you blown over by a gust of wind or with a sore back.
Among those we tested were a mixture of folding camping chairs from Kampa, Outwel and Vango. We tested them on everything from durability to ease of assembly and, most importantly, comfort.
This winter we tested 10 camping chairs to see which ones we find the comfiest for you camping or caravan holiday.

Verdict: This chair is all staff members favourite chair, is super comfy for spending your evening sat around a camp fire with friends. What we think makes this chair comfier than other chairs, is there is no bar along the front which after a while we find digs into your legs.
With its huge weight capacity at 180kg, this chair allows you to put your weight onto the frame when getting up and down.
The only flaw with this we think is the pack size which is fairly large but you will not get a super comfy sturdy chair that packs up small.
